Since I arrived back from Jamaica, I haven’t really had time to do tech stuff since I’ve been trying to stay away from the stuff that was driving me crazy.

So, here is a round up of what has happened:

Last week there was a bit of a mishap, which is hopefully taken care of now, but just a reminder to everyone: Emailing passwords via email is a big no-no.  If you think it’s a good idea, go read the book I was talking about in my last post (Art of Deception by Kevin Mitnick).

On Friday it was time for a break from work, and since I had traveled the weekend before, I figured I needed a long weekend.  My friend Chris and I decided it would be a perfect day for Wonderland, and that it was.  We got in the park right at 10am and made it onto The Behemoth shortly thereafter.  That ride was awesome, and it was great that we got to sit in the very front car.  If you don’t know, the park was half-deserted as it was overcast and since I’m allergic to the sun, it made it easier for me to stay outside the entire day.

On Saturday, it was finally time to get a new phone, and I decided that it was time to upgrade (and get the heck off of Mike and back onto Telus PCS).  It was only a few dollars more to add unlimited Data and Email onto my plan, so I made the switch and bought a CrBlackberry Curve and I’ve had a hard time putting it down since.  Now I have full access to Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo IM, Google Maps, Live Maps…. and the list goes on.  Saturday night was the UFC fight, and I was constantly getting in trouble for being ‘anti-social’ since I was working in my new phone.

Sunday was a bit of a ‘rest’ day for me, and I headed to the Toronto Argonauts vs Edmonton Eskimos CFL Game at the Rogers Centre.  Unfortunately, the Nissan Tail-Gate Party was cancelled due to inclement weather.  So, instead, we hiked over to Hooters and had a small party there.  When we got back, we went and hunted down our seats and found out that 1) it was Tim Horton’s Family Day and 2) we were seated right next to the Tim Horton’s Camp kids.  But that wasn’t the good part, the good part is that we were right near all of the action (read: Cheerleaders).  The action was good, and some times we remembered to actually watch the football game.  The Argonauts ended up winning in the last minute of the game, which made it all that much better. After the game, we got to go on the field and meet some of the cheerleaders which made it all that much better.  Oh, and to top it off: I was able to Microblog the entire thing on Twitter and Facebook from my phone, uploading Photos as the game went on.

Monday was Mel’s birthday, so naturally, there was a party and I was in attendance.  During the party, I once again got into trouble with having the Crackberry out and it ended up on the roof.  I’m not kidding, I had to jump to get it off the roof.

And that leads us to today.  After a nice dinner out, I decided to stay in and just catch up on everything (including synching the Zune, which hasn’t had an update since I returned home).

So, that wraps it up in less than 15 pages (I apologize, really!) and I’ll try and keep the updates shorter from now on.  If anyone knows of an app for doing blogs from my phone, PLEASE TELL ME.  Since I use Windows Live Custom Domains, I can’t just send an email; Otherwise, I would.
